1) I have a piece of the speedometer drive stuck in the axle as well as a broken of drill bit. Anybody have any ideas on how to get the damn drill bit that I broke off out of the axle as well as the piece of the speedometer cable?

2) Which way is richer again on the fuel screws? Logic says out but I can not remeber for sure. Thanks

OH No ,maybe if you drill a small hole on either side you can get it out with needle nose or side cutters . Do you have the shaft out ? If not I am afraid you will have to take it out ,I know on mine there is not much room to work and you can't see what is happening . There is a good chance you will have to replace the shaft .drill bits are the worst thing to get out because they are so hard .

I fixed it!!

Luckily there was enough room behnd the bushing that has the hex in it to pucsh all the crap further into the axle with a flat head punch. Jason

Right on I will try to remember that for the next time . Usually if that litlle shaft twists off there is another problem . Did that drive axle bearring seem ok . If that bearring is rough it runns hot and when it cools off it sucks moisture in and freezes .I am not saying thats what happened just something you might want to check. Mine broke once and the head was seized .

Hopefully nothing else.

I was rushing putting it back together after putting my new 9830 in and I had changed the bellypan on that side also. So I think that I either damaged it putting it back together or the cable had a little to much kink in it. I changed the bearing last year and its still in good shape. Thnaks Jason
