I know this has been gone over a few times, but there doesnt seem to be a for sure answer. I have a 99 srx 700 and am replacing the track. I want to know what size track for sure will fit under my sled, with studs. I dont wanna have to remove any of the protectors for the heat exchangers, or the tunnel protectors

1" with stock drivers 1.25" with 8 tooth drivers.

ok, but i have also heard that 1.25 tracks will fit, they just take a few miles to break them in around the protectors. They are 1/8 inch big or something?

depends on who you wanna believe, but if stuff's rubbing, it's ognna do the most rubbing at high speed, which is gonna slow you down, couple miles till it doesn't rub at low speeds sure, but don't plan on having a decent top-end pass for awhile
