2000 sx-r has the straighter style bars.

yup 2000's and up are straighter and longer.

just a reminder that is you use a stock cover (sled cover) for your XTC it won't fit anymore, otherwise its a great improvment.

yep, i have a 6 inch riser with bar ends on my SXR and I use an old XTC cover when i need one, i cut out the ends of the cover, so the handle bars stick out of the cover, does the job, keeps the crap off the hood and seat.
