Throttle over ride

When switch is closed, resistance should be zero depending on where you measure it.....0.6 ohms is as close to zero as you can get....

What about the other switch that makes up the TORS?.... It too should be about the same when closed.....

that first switch is fine...

.6ohms is nothing....if you touch both leads together you will probably read the same thing.
If the switch reads that low than it is ok.
Are you having problems that lead you to beleive it was your switch

Yes it was bogging and no power ,to the point where I got stuck good thing I only had to go a quarter mile ,from my truck to my cabin .I left it idle there for a half hour, and it seemed to be okon the way back. I didn't ride any more than I had to as it was storming and I had to get out of there .

The simplest way to check your sensor is to unplug the two wires that go to it and hook them together. If this fixes it then you have a problem in the switch. If however your carbs where having an ice issue then the switch was working as was designed. Could have been two different issues.

The tros is ok the problem was water in the fuel ,I have cleaned the carbs and pumped out the gas .I am going to drain the fuel pump tonight and the I should be ok again .
