Is there any way to set the offset and c to c without using special tools,
my 99 srx has the torque arm that should hold the c to c pretty close but is there an easy way to get the offset done?
or if someone that lives near cadillac mi has a tool and some know how they would like to share get a hold of me

Use a straight edge on the back of the primary that is long enough to go to the rear of the secondary. Measure with a small metric ruler the distance from the back of the secondary(front edge) to the straight edge and do the same on the back of the secondary(back edge). Buy a metric bolt the same thread size as the secondary bolt, only longer, to come out far enough that it is parallel with the primary bolt and measure from the center of the primary bolt to the center of the new secondary bolt with a metric ruler or tape measure. I hope this helps.

OR>>> even easier, get that small long straight edge, Open up your secondary, let it drop down and let the secondary shieves close up and grab the straight edge, let the other end drop down untill it touches the primary clutch, and make sure it aligns up center on the primary, and your done.
