I want to put on the lightweight muffler on my viper. I know that the jetting is currently fat. I wanted to reject down one size this year anyway. Would the can make it leaner. I guess I don't want to jet down/put the can on and end up becoming too lean. We all know what happend then.

vipers have a very broad and forgiving fuel curve, put the can on if you want, it won't really lean it out any. Personally i wouldn't jet it down because of those -30*F mornings, but i guess that is up to you

maybe im just a wimp, but im sure not riding when its -30f! :Moon:

For Canadian weather at lower altitude the Viper jetting is close. Don,t go lower. With the healthy timing advance & chance of poor quality fuel you would be rolling the dice. Stock jetting is fine.
