I was wondering if anyone would know what would happen if I were to cut out some large sections of my belly pans to get the hot air out? I'm gonna cut out the sections and then in place of the holes I'm going to put a mesh screen that has and aluminum strip all the way around the outside. I would think it would be fine, especially with the aluminum strip to act as like a header for it, or no? The one pic is the side of the pan, and the second is of inside the radious rod well with the left being the front of the sled. thanks!!!

these are going to be like huge flowrites, i have a friend whose doing them for me and it costs me the same amount for one flow rite for him to do 2 of those larger cut out sections, and they are powder coated.

don't waste your time. the only thing that will happen is you will get unwanted snow, water & junk under the hood. not only will this not increase the sleds performance but it will actually take mph off your top speed.

yea i wouldn't do this either, and when you realize it was a mistake, you'll also realize how expensive bellypans are
