did anyone dyno and compare the 2? just wondering what is better. just had new petals put on my vforce3s after only 200-300 kms. dont know if i want to do it again. anyone else have problems with there vforce3s? where can i find the mod for the viper reeds?

look in the tech section. vforce3's only shine when on bigger displacement engines (big bores and such) on a stock viper or even a piped viper your not going to notice much difference. with some good porting (mrviper700) and pipes you could see a difference. better off going with the reed notch, cheaper as well.

I was under the impression that the reed stopper notch mod did nothing for the viper. The notch mod only works with non-powervalved engines. Someone please chime in and confirm this for me. - Thanks

yes it only work on the sx triple not the power valve motor.

Turk claims that the reed notch does also help on the valved engines, but personally i have never noticed much of any improvement on the valved engines, at least nothing like the non valved

You can ask Turk, but he told me when I asked that he is not much a of reed notch supporter. He did say that the spacers do help all triples.
I have been doing the notches for years and have had no problems but some have notched to far and some reed stoppers have been cracking and falling apart...be careful with this mod.
