I did a search for paint for a SRX, to redo the tunnel, but anybody know what color would be close in a spray can?
I saw the blue pearl color post, which is J3852, but don't need a special mix, just some touch up.
Anybody have some, or can tell me a close color?

Check out www.color-rite.com you can buy all sorts of applicators ie aerosal, pen that sort of thing exact color match.

most body shop supply shops will mix an aerosol for $15.
Terry you should just polish it.

i second the polish. don't know how you get the paint off, i know 2000srx showed a walk through of him stripping his tunnel and polishing it. looked 10 times better than the paint!!!
Ryan - I would like to get this baby on the track soon, than strip it down in winter time, and go nuts with the polish. I just need to paint rivots, and some bare spots. I will give you a call soon, as I might need your help on power valves. Never worked on them before.

Hey Terry, I was probably the one that posted the Dupont number J3852. Remember back at the TY ride in Houghton last Dec? You might not remember me but I was singing with you and Sleddy and Welterracer. If you look back at the picures I'm wearing a blue Yamaha shirt. Anyway, I have some J3852 here at home, but UPS won't take hazardous material, or I'd send it to you. I could probably get some put into an aerosol but I don't know how I could get it to ya. I live in Dubuque IA. I bet you are 4 or 5 hours from me. If you could find a Dupont jobber near you they could mix you some, even if they can't put it in an aerosol for you, you could get one of those little Prevail aerosol things from Menards. It's an aerosol canister with a little glass jar that attaches to the bottom so you can spray it like a regular aerosol can. For a cheap little deal, they don't work too bad. Especially if you are only painting rivots. I get as far as Plattville WI in my territory if that would help any. Call with any questions. 563-590-3842. Chad.

I hear ya on the Haz Mat sending UPS. Try and get a 5 gallon can of race gas sent to you. It costs darn near more than the price itself.

Just made my reservation for the TY ride in Houghton again this year. Man, that's a long way away. I'm gonna try to go to Haydays for a fix, but that won't last long. How's the racing going?

Racing started out good, but dropping in points lately. Lots of personal problems: Cat just had surgery, wife has a back problem, kids- well there just kids, and got heat stroke the last time at the track. Just need to get back up there in points.
If you see Tom at Hay Days, and could deliver the paint to him, I would pay you for it.
