I used K+N filters on a 77 MM for a couple of seasons. The intake sound was great. I was able to burn a little more fuel with a clean plug color. Can't be sure if it made more power, never dyno'd it. The down side is that the engine uses air from under the hood. That means hot air and often moisture rich air. I ended up believing that cold air from outside the engine compartment produced better throttle response. I still have them. If you want them pm me for details.

i think i already have bought a set of someone... But anyone with pics of a viper ith them? Modmax, are they in good shape/ are they straight out from the engine or do they have a angle?.. can i have a pic of them and hopw much?...

dunno if these help at all...

ive never seen the exhaust exit on both sides on a 2 stroke. Thats pretty wicked. The first picture is sweet. A lot of money put into them just for show

yes, a lot of it is for show, but its also purposeful. when building a custom sled, you want something to make it standout, hence the "custom". so these big time custom sled builders, like specialty sleds, spend the money to get their product noticed. but also, its still more yet purposeful because the powder coating protectst the sled for years to come from rust and corosion, and the anodizing helps in cooling. i mean, you don't call a stock yamaha custom because the arms and rods are painted do you? not being rude or anything, just kinda a pet peeve when people call them show sleds when they still go, and like no other!!!

first one is the yamaha 1200cc in the sx chasis, the second is a doo 1160, the third is something i can't remember, and the fourth is a 950cc in a viper tube chasis. and you wanna see exhaust exit both sides do ya?!?! i guess you'll want to see it exit the rear as well i suppose!!! haha, here ya go!!!
