Any recommendations on an aftermarket silencer for a 99 srx. I'm looking at cutting down weight while keeping noise to a min.. thanks

I have a SLP silencer on my '98 SRX. Much lighter than stock, great sound(not too loud).

Leave it stock
If your looking for a better sound, then yes an aftermarket silencer, (I like the sound of the Bender QST) will do the trick.
But, you will probably loose some Hp's. Been der, dun it.
I still say stock silencer is the way to go.

I have a Hauck and a Power Inc. Both are nice, but the Hauck is much louder than the Power Inc. 
I have a Dynoport and a Maxx. Perf. suitcase style if you are interested. $100.00 for either one.
