what rpms should I be shooting for while tuning my clutches?Have a set of heavy hitters installed,my yamaha manual says 8500 plus or minus 250rpms,also how accurate have you guys found your tachs to be?Thanks-Harvey
The tachs are with in 50 rpm on the 02,s usually. You want to be at around 85-8600 on a long pull.

Have you played with these weights at all in an SRX?Do I want to pull 8500-8600 start to finish or start out lower and run up to 8500-8600 on top?I am running a dalton 54/46 helix,green yami secondary wraped at 90 and purple max perf. primary spring,the sled is pretty much stock other than being geared down 2 teeth on top, cold air kit,and 192 woodies in the stock 2002 track.Thanks-Harvey
