I trying to find out what my wifes sxr500 is worth 100% stock with 735 miles in mint shap. I am trying to decide if its worth selling, any ideas??

Well, in 2002 I sold my wife's 1999 500 for $3200 and it had 3500 miles on it and a few dings here and there. I wish I had never gotten rid of it. I am guessing you will be able to get close to $2500 for it seeing it is a 500. They haven't made them in a while, and you will be suprised at how many people want 500 cc sleds for their wives or kids. Hell, put it in the paper and be firm on your price for whatever you think it is worth, and if you can't get it, keep it. It is a little early to sell a sled though. Good Luck.

You can get more than $ 2500! If the miles are true, and your stated MINT cond I have seen sleds on ebay bring plenty when the sled is right! & if you are willing to meet the people 1/2 way & not charge them you will get more bids!

Thanks For The Help The Milage And Condition Are True, My Wife Makes Usually One Trip A Year . The Sled Truly Looks Brand New Except For A Small Scratch On One Of The Suspension Arms.
kbb is 2600 ish..... if you get close to that you are doing well..... i figure withing 2-3 hundred withing kbb and u did good.... the problem with any used sleds is the market is flooded right now... i have a viper i would love to sell and feel it is underpriced for all the additions to her and had no luck selling late last year and few bites this year.... everyone seems to want the latest and greatest... go figure... where r u located... with all that said, i may be interested....
Just sold a v-max 500 er with 2500 miles, for $2500 by word of mouth. If you adverstize you sould get more than I did. Good luck
