SRX gearing

I was wondering if anyone that has dropped two teeth on the top sprocket could give me some input on there sleds performance? I have a '99 SRX 700 with a 2000 engine. I have a cold air kit with a gutted airbox, carbon tech reeds, tempa flow, heelclickers and I'm currentlydown one tooth on top. I will be installing a set of mega power heads this week. I was thinking with the new heads if I dropped down another tooth the sled would rip! How much would I be sacrificing on the top end?

I have the same question. Did you ever drop to the 21 tooth. I am interested in doing the same.

i run 21/38 gring in a stock 00 srx, she rocks and i lost no top end at all,
i onley giand ecceleration.

what kind of speeds are you getting with that setup ???
