I have a fix powersports clutch kit in and the sled will rev to 8900 rpm's, how woudl I get it down to 8500? I believe its using the stock 8EK weights just a gram for every 100 rpm?
Sled is stock engine wise except for a CAI and one size fatter jets.
Thanks!

You can add more Tip weight but it may not feel as zippy down low...might need a primary spring change to compliment the extra tip weight. Whats sled is the kit in??

How about a new belt, or cleaning the clutch faces? Give him a call, I'm sure he would help you out.

I'm not sure why he wouldn't be able to give you some pointers, hell he designed the clutch kit didn't he? Is it suppose to be at 8500 rpms? I can't remember when he did mine what it reved at.
