there are 2 set screws in the collar, on the inside.

I got those out, but can't get the bearing off. I hate to heat it in the sled, but just might have to. Maxdlx

Can you slide it out far enough to put a puller on it? Try a little oil also.

I got it, had to pull and beat the whole way. it had been off before. To bad people don't believe in never seieze. It will be coated, with new bearing when it goes back together. Now I just need to try and fix the bolts for the speedo/bearing cover. Never ends. LOL Maxdlx

i had one be like that on my 2000 mountain lite 500. we had to cut it off with a oxy/acetalene torch. that was a bad one.
