looks like KTM have backed out, no longer going to cover engine supply or tires for team KR, Shakey Byrne was also under contract to KTM, not to KR directly, so they have paid him out for the remainder of the contract and told him he's "free to go".

Things are looking down for King Kenny, by the sound of it Shakey hasn't ruled out riding the rest of the season on another bike, Mr. Aksland (Team manager for Team KR) has talked of bringing the V5 back out for the rest of the year. I'm also hearing talk of them running a satellite team for another manufacturer next year.

That's not something I'd like to see personally, the 4-strokes have been the death of the small man in GP's and the day that Kenny Roberts steps out will likely be the day I stop watching them, 'cause it's gone to far down the Formula one road.
