Doesn't look too low to me. They don't sit very high stock. We'll see what others think.

maybe a hair higher than normal, certainly not to low
Thanks for the replies. It all comes to money now. Should I just buy this and convert it to dcs or should I wait for a 02? Hmm. The price is probably right, it cost NOK 120 000 when new and the owner wants NOK 55 000 for it. It has 4100 km on it (2548miles) on it and has the stock track (or stock replacement track in very good condition). The owner is a male.
There is another 01 also for sale. Owner wants 65000. Sled has 3000 km (1864 miles) on it, has a 1,25 camo track and is driven by a woman.
The thing that makes it so hard to decide between these two is the track and the mileage.
the one with 1864 miles on it already has a 1,25 camo and the other does not have. A new camo will cost NOK 7000 bringing the 55 000 sled to 62 000. Then the difference is 3000. For 3000 more I can have a sled that has less mileage on it and is probably even better treated. But again, I can probably sell the stock track off the 55 000 sled to NOK 2000. Or should I wait for a 02, which will cost between 65000 and 70000?
A DCS convertion will cost NOK 12000. I guess it's all down to the condition the sled is in..
I just can't decide!

Looks good to me! and where are you from 120,000 of anything is a lot haha
Tough call which one looks to be in better shape? The stock track will definatly last a long time but doesnt hook up very well. Being woman driven doesnt mean a thing, some chicks would put a whoopin on most guy riders No problem with a 01 just doesnt have dcs, no biggy if you leave it alone.
Is mine to low? Hehe Got some extended ohlins to put on it yet

NOK 120 000 is like 17900 usd with an exchange rate of 6,7 NOK per dollar. I think I'll put on that dcs, because I do long lake pulls in cold weather..
Tell me about it. That was the cost of the srx when it was new. An APEX would be around 20000-22000 at least.. You haven't considered converting yours to a unit wit dcs?

Im not worried about my engine. I love to make long runs with it never ever had a problem with it. The people i know with dcs complain on how it always comes on. DCS is a nice option but imo i wouldnt base what i buy over it, i would be concerned over the rest of the sled instead of whether it has dcs on it or not.
I've never touched my jetting in my sled and ive riden it in -40*f all the way up to 60*f never missed a beat. If it was going to go it would have went by now haha

Junior, here is the "recepie" cut from an email:
"what you need is:
8dn-82590-20-00 wire harness
5dm-81950-00-00 relay
8dn-85780-00-00 sensor
8dn-83530-00-00 light assembly
8dn-85540-30-00 cdi box
8df-1240L-10-00 coolant rail
retail these add up to about 900.00 bucks all you have
to do after is rejet carbs to 02 specs"
cost is 900 usd but NOK 12000 with labour.

Norwegian: Have you had engine problems in the past? or is there another reason you want DCS.
