gang, just a reminder there is a large grass and asphalt sled shootout going on at martin 131 dragway between grand rapids and kalamazoo mich on saturday. the bellmans will be there as will rich stumpf (all nhra asphalt pro sled riders) up to 100 asphalt sleds have commited to saturdays racing. simultaniously there will be a grass drag event running there too. lots of sleds, and race fuel to drool over. gives us something to pump us up for winter which is comming soon to a trail near you. they are having another event like this sometime in the comming months i just dont have the exact date yet. ski
 

This event takes place both this Friday (diesel truck drags, testing for grass sleds, and testing for asphalt sleds), Saturday (grass & a quick 16 & bracket race on the asphalt), and Sunday (grass drags).

There will also be another event October 8-9 there as well with the same schedule.
 
already in the works, i plan on being there. we made some changes at the track and got closer to where we were earlier in the year. at least the times are stating to come down again. he ran two classes and at qualifying, we turned the sled over in 12 minutes. thats from the time rich left the line the first time, back down the return lane, cooled the sled in the return lane (lynne and I walked the cool down box to the lane) made a suspension adjustment. and re ran it, 12 minutes! hoping to get him testing the next few weeks so we can get her back in the 8's. rode the bikes 275 miles today too. busy weekend, i be whipped. ski
