Any problems with these sleds? what should i look feel or listen for? how fast should it go?

Thanks Guys
Eric

I only real problem my family has had with Phazers is the Oil pump likes to leak. It should also have no trouble getting up to 85-90MPH on the speedo (my 90' phazer II stock went 84mph on radar)

Great lightweight sled. If you ride in deep snow make sure to check that ice hasn't built up in the axial fan enough to keep it from turning. This can be hard on the engine.

we had a 91 phazer II rod the crap outta that thing and it kept on going.. well untill i jumped it and found a rock under the snow on the landing... but the crank went on it and i guess that is not to uncommin.
we had a PSI pipe on it and it did about 80-90mph.

How many miles on it.The crank seals on the clutch side go out which in turn makes her run very lean which takes out the crank and jugs ,pistons, etc.Mine went out around 7000 miles seems to be very common problem.Very good machine other then that.Light and get around very well despite the 1/2 track.Mike

We have a 90 Phazer. It has almost 10K on it. Never had a problem. Great sled, especially for beginners!

What kinda money are they asking for it? I have 3, 2-90's & a 91. Wouldn't trade or sell for anything. Blown the 91 up twice. First time didn't know why, 600.00 for everything. Second time, found out it was a bad oil pump (just another crank rebuild). I'm in the process of adding elec start to my 91 now (won't do that again).
