any ever had any experience with these? i just bought one and i need some input. What did you do for clutching? jetting? any thing else? any info would be much appreciated!
Also should i get my crank looked at and trued up? i got about 5000 kilometers on this beast.

for jetting i would find the difference between the 500 and 600 vmax and what ever it is i would add that amount on top of the 600 jetting to accomodate the 700 cylinders. 8AB's work great on the v-max twins with a 51/43 helix. as far as the crank goes i would just run it. these motors were built to last!!! i owned a 94 vmax 500 and it never quit!! only down fall is that the 500 only put out about 85 HP i believe

What sort of pipes are you gonna run. Twin pipes on these motors are a bit finicky. You can run a single pipe of a 96 which is much larger than 94-95. In 96 they also went from 156 jets down to 152's. You want to consider some 40mm carbs but not sure. Something to research. Single pipe will give more bottom to mid were as twin pipes are more for top end. Hope this helps a little.
