just wondering if this track has those little studs that you can buy and screw them in any track (lug studs). If so my experience with lug studs is they fall out and dull very quickly. Wonder what is the warranty on these tracks if the studs fall out. Also has anyone tried the one that was out last year. How would it compare on ice to a sled with only 96 chisels.
Thanks I know this question is posted on the VIP general but I can't post there

They are not the screw in studs. They are molded in, and have 2 holding rings on the shank not just 1. They are regular carbide tips like normal studs. Maxdlx

There are 256 stud in the 121 track, on ice the 96 chisels will be better. The track that camoplast sell with there stud in are very dependable, the track I saw at the snow show had over 5500 mile on it with no pull outs.

Unless it is new for 2006, the Iceclaw is NOT offered on a Ripsaw track.

Yeah, its a new track comming out this fall, its called the "Ice Ripper". It can't compare to push throughs but its better than nothing. Perfect for the person who never runs studs.
If an 1.25" was put on a 01' SRX would there be an issue with it hitting anything?

Deek,
The 1.25" fits, I was thinking them iceclaw studs may end up rubbing on something.
