anyone see the add talking about them selling retrofit kits of the mono-shock rear skid to any pro-action sleds?? their site says nothing of it really..........
I was wondering the same thing - but theres nothing at their site yet.

I was curious about this as well as I've seen the ads in various magazines... I called Bender and got some info:
It won't be available until sometime in early October... it's a kit that essentially coverts you over to the Mono-Shock system. It utilizes the 2 rails and wheels off your existing Pro-Action skid. Cost will be $995.

Is it impossible to mount a mono shock skid from a rx-1 into a viper?

nothing is impossible, just not a direct bolt in. the mono shock also isnt sold by yamaha as a kit. have to find someone that doesnt actually want a real nice suspension, or they crashed their new sled lol
I was reading yesterday in Benders add in SnowTech that the kit will shed 20lbs. Thats a good drop in weight. I wonder what it would ride like ?

I was talking with Bender earlier this year about a big bore for my sled and we got talking about that suspension. It will fit into any SX chasis from 1997, I think and will be like the RA suspension. I don't know how that rides but I will soon enough on my RTX. The kit is around $900.00
kinger there is a guy on here that has a mono shock skid in his srx and loves it.
