The handlebars on my Exciter are broke just below the "T" section of the handlebars. Is this part a to replace or not?? I would like to get it fixed so I can ride it every once and a while for fun or sell it.
Here's a pic(the arrow shows where it is broke).

I've had to weld every phazer that I've owned. Mine usually break at the weld where the bars connect to the post.

Mine broke there too. I used solid drift pin to make a handle bar riser, added about 1 3/4 " to it and welded it all in. I also made gussets where the handle bar join into the shaft.
MUCH better. But, now I can't run all that plastic trim anymore, not that I wanted to anyways.
I say just weld it up, and you'll be good to go.
