New hacksaw track? Better than 9830? Opinions


i thought the the hacksaw was just a 1" ripsaw? i could be wrong tho. if it is, then it just depends on your riding. people liked the ripsaw for its ability to hook up, but some liked the other better because it hooked better with studs. just depends...
 
correct, it is just a cut down version of the ripsaw. A 1 inch version, rather than a 1.25 inch! only difference I belive, otherthan that, they are the same
 
check out port parts section on the forum... kevin posted a pic of the hacksaw... to me it looks a little different, the lugs seem to be a little scooped rather than the alternating height straight lugs of the ripsaw....
my .02... it looks like it would hook great
 
it is NOT the same as the ripsaw by any means, the lug pattern is actually quite different. The lugs are stiffer and are supposed to be more durable than the ripsaw. There is also more meat in the center of the hacksaw than on the 9830. Should hook very well.
