Just curious as my dealer told me that my power valve broke due to lack of maintainance and becuase I was not using ring free. Mine had 300 miles on them since the last cleaning.
Anyone know how to get a power valve that is stuck in the cylinder out?
Mine broke sitting at idle talking with my riding buddy.
Mine broke the tip off which then wedged between the piston and the head.
I wonder how the cable allowed this to happen it was ok and had not pulled out.
I do I know the rod and crack are still ok? Can you check the crank run out with out removing the primary clutch?
First time I've ever been pulled out and now the other 2 will make me nervous. The one that broke was the center.
So far I ordered a piston, clips, and a powervalve, what else should I be replacing?
