I have an 03 viper (obviously!) and was wondering how the transparent chrome mid height cobra windshield compares to my stock one. I would like something to set it apart but really dont want to give up the wind protection. I like to ride a lot in the negative numbers (there is only snow for so long, HAVE to take advantage!) and already got frostbite once, not wanting it again! let me know, and if you got pics of it I would love to see em. thanks guys, let the opinions in!

yeah, not bad, but I think it always looks better with the 02 viper and that windshield. since mine has the black fairing I thought it might look odd :)

Hey mines not transparent, but blue chrome. It has a black band around the bottom so it would blend. look under my post crazy flatlanders viper. Maxdlx

max, looks nice, how does it compare to the flare and size of the stock windy? what brand/model is that? looks great :)

It is the short one, and is a sport tech. I just got it in July, so I don't know how it does in the wind, but that never has bothered me. Maxdlx

Hey I have a 2 inch riser that makes it look shorter. Maxdlx

the sportechs generally always have a bigger flare than stock, keep the hands a little warmer ;)!

My brother had a transparent chrome windshield on his Pro-X, and it looked pretty good. Granted, it didnt have the bling-bling factor of a non see-through chrome one, but it looked good nonetheless.
If it were me, Id go with the lowest chrome windshield I could find and then go with a set of handguards.

I have the transparent chrome on my 02. Just as good protection as the shorter 02 stock because of the increased flare. I have a 1 inch riser, so my hands can get cold when I'm riding in -25C. Other then that I like it. Here's a not so great pic of it (only pic I have with the windy)

o, I wouldnt want one without a flare. had the stock windshield on my 97 600sx and dealt with it, but I am too old for that stuff now ( a RIPE old age of 24) and need the extra protection. mostly just ride where it is significantly colder too ;)
