Can any of the newer rear suspensions be installed under the sled? clutch? Anyways i'm green as the grass as far as sleding is concerned any help would be awsome.

Since your "green as grass", I'd leave it alone for a couple of years and figure out what you want. Once you start messin with em, they start breakin. I have 3 Phazers and love them. I've rode newer/better sleds and came to the conclusion that mine do just fine. You wont find a lighter more dependable sled. Around here, snow is mariginal and I hate to be paying payments on something I can't ride. If it don't snow...no problem, they're paid for. Makes for happy sledding......

depending on the mileage it may need a new set of Reeds. I put Boysen reeds in mine and I could feel a bit more low end response. Other than a pipe there really isn't much you can do to a Phazer to help out much more. I've had trouble with a bushing sticking in the primary clutch also which causes it to "move by itself" once in a while. My Family has owned 7 Phazers and one has 16,000 on the orginial engine with NO overhauls, mine has the least Mileage with 3,200 on it. I still drive it around locally and break trail with it but I prefer my 01' SX-R better.
