Can anyone help with the trail conditions in the Sudbury/Elliote Lake/ Sault Ste. Marie/ Wawa / timmins area? I have heard conflicting reports that some areas are not real good. We do this trip every year, we are from central Ontario and there is lots of snow, just not the same trails as the north. Any feed back will help in our plans.
Thanks....Happy

Hey I am from Sudbury and let me tell you the trails just north of here are GREAT. Lots of snow they are groomed nice and wide and are flat.
I was on the trail north to Thor lake and the ride was incredible.
I have not really gone further than tha trail in this area since they are in awesome condition.

Amazing Trails in Kapuskasing!
I'm just north of Timmins here in Kapuskasing, and the trails are amazing. We've always got tonnes of snow so there's never a problem there. The trails are typically aways highway smooth and just as wide. A large number of the trails are old logging roads so you can just imagine how wide and smooth they are.
You have to experience it to believe it!
