Puller
Is got a tapered shaft you'll probably need a puller. The puller ataches to the 3 bolt holes that the starter basket is bolted on with. Jason

You just need a harmonic balncer puller, sometimes they also call them steering wheel pullers. usually come in a kit with all kinds of differnt bolts. cost about $20-30 at any tool store.
heres a generic pic so you know what they look like.
1 tip dont screw in the 3 little bolts too far or youll damage the stator windings, just thread them in with your fingers the thickness of the flywheel.

Just got a puller similar to this a few weeks ago and did this for the first time. Worked great. I did have to rap on the flywheel a couple times but had been on the sled for 16 years.

you can break the magnets by rapping on the fly wheel.
