Base Gasket???

Was Told A Srx Base Gasket Works Better On A Viper For Coolant Flow.

Evens out the coolant flow to all three cylinders. Definitely recommend it for triple pipes or a big bore.

Thanks Allen, How About This Question, I Got A Bender Opticool Head Gasket.........one Side Has A Large Opening For Coolent.....which Side Does It Go On......pto Or Mag??

Largest hole goes on the PTO side with the tab on the carb side of the motor if memory serves me correctly. I'm sure someone has the installation instructions on here. I haven't used a Viper head gasket in a while now though, especially the Opticool. I've been o-ringing the tops of the cylinders and using the SRX style o-rings instead.

since there is gasket talk going on I have a question.

When reinstalling a new head and base gaskets are you guys using any sealer or install dry as recived?

If they're new I install dry as recieved. If reinstalling a used one I use Copper Coat.
