Nos On A Stock Viper

they do it all the time in doo's, poo's and cat's twins, why not a tripple. When i say stock i mean no pipes.

As far as I have read, it is perfectly safe to run Nos on a stock engine. I just bought a Boondocker kit for my unpiped Viper. Very anxious to see the gain. Boondocker recommends jetting up one size and running premium. My question is, since Yamaha is generally fat on jetting, would I need to jet up one?

I would, better safe than sorry. the viper is actually pretty well jetted from the factory it would seem, great on gas and oil :)

I've run a couple boondockers on differant sleds with no problems. If your happy with the way you are jetted now you don't need to go up a jet size unless you go 50 horse or more. just fallow there set up instructions on proper manifold adjustments. O ya get a second bottle to these are fun one wont cut it.

any quistions call them they will alk you through everything.

it probably doesnt work as well on a single piped sled because all the extra exhaust gases have a hard time escaping through the stock single. twins dont choke as much with a single as a triple does.

Good point n2oiroc, but it is Alot safer to run Nitrous on a Stock engine than it is to a modded one.. i was thinkin about gettin it but i hear its too risky with the stuff i have done.. so im just gonan save the money and invest in somthign else with just as much Hp...

A good kit set up by some one that knows what they are doing will not give any problems stock or not.
