Powder coating or painting rails?

Does the powder coating hold up well with all the ice?

Also, can it be painted and primed and still hold up?

How should i paint the spring coils powder coating or prime and spray paint?

i got my rails chrome powdercoated, didnt run them yet. but it looks real good and should be a bit more durable than paint.

powder coating is real strong when done right, much better than paint. I would think it would hold up fine.

I polished my rails last year, I put 600 miles on my sled and the shine is still there. It is just another option.
