Hey Guys,
I have a 1998 srx 600 sled which has 144 studs, heel clicker clutch, and a new engine. I want to beat guys in 600- 1000 feet. OR get there ASAP. Give me some Ideas.....Should I do anything to my suspension? hmmm...
thanks,
Garth ;)!

I really think traction and clutching are the most underestimated things in snowmobiling. What are you running for a track? Do you have the heelclickers dialed in? It seems like we all try to buy things that will add 5-10HP...but in the end....the guy next you you with 5-10 HP less smokes you because he is so far ahead out of the whole there is no time to catch up. It sounds like you want to be that guy!! :) I'd look at traction!!!

If the 600's are anything like the 700's they need a set of transfer rods. Maxx Perf. or Bender rods seem to be the best out there. I would go with the Maxx Perf. rods though. I've heard the Benders freeze up. You could gear down one tooth on the top if you haven't already. Of course this will require clutching adjustments.
