Have any of you installed a Digatron on a 2001 srx.I need to know where you picked up you power supply and pulse reading.I known there is info in the tech section , but it is really unclear, and i don't feel like making a bad mistake.I also called Digatron and asked i was told to call yamaha so they don't know either.

Dont know if this helps or not, in the new Hi-Performance Engineering cataloge it says 2000 and newer Srxs need a DC power harness $19.95.

You can get a pulse right from the stock tach wire. It worked with my racepak dash anyways. I'll have to check what color the wire is that I used leading into the back of the tach when I get home and let you know.

Yes you can get a pulse from the tech, but the power/tech lead for the digatron needs AC power + a pulse on the same wire. Now can i get that from one of the three white wires coming off the lighting coil whitch go to the voltage regulator.

Anyone
Question: are the three wires coming from the lighting coil AC or DC voltage??????

I'm serious, call digitron tech line. The number is on there site. They will tell you exactly how to do it. Maxdlx

Sorry Brad, I misunderstood. I didn't know digatron used the same wire for power and pulse. Its a little different than my racepak then. Let us know what you come up with.

i hace a racepak avenger three & need help getting the light to come on,how to use the record button,& some other basic questions i should probably know. also where can i get the splice for the antifreeze lines to use my water temp probe

Digatron

SORRY :o| :o| :o|
this seams to going no where fast..
I called digatron three times and guess what same guy same answer HE DOESN"T KNOW... call yamaha he said, now thats good tech service...
At this point all i would like to confirm is that, the 3 white wires coming from my stator to the voltage reg are AC power and can i get a paulse from them as well.

dt-54 what there has to be letters after the 54 should be on card that was in box.go to there site and click on right letter that comes after 54 and they have very specific instustion has how to install tach for the different series of letters. unless you have one thats not for snowmobile then dont hook tach up because it will burn the unit out and nothing will work. Sound like you have wrong unit if they wouldn't help with install. same thing happend to me when i bought my first one from ebay .good luck
