Didn't get the factory tool set with the sled so I am looking for advice on how to adjust the front and rear spring tension without the tool. Anyone every try this?
Even better, anyone have one of those tools laying around?

take the load of the suspension, crack the locking collar with a screwdriver/chisel and a mallet. then adust by hand or same method of tapping with screwdriver. Careful not to damege the locking nuts too bad or the threads. or just purchase a spanner wrench to fit (not sure on that part #)

none of the stock yamaha tool kits i ever got even came with a spanner wrench. I know the RX-1's do though.

the dealer has them for $7 each. they are just stamped metal and not that great. if you get a pair make sure to get a single and double ended one.

yeah, get a set of ohlins spanners from the dealer, well worth it! or upgrade to the quick nuts from (I think) pioneer. little bit of $$, but they are SWEET!
