Ohlins with black springs?

Then what am I seeing on Haucks web site? I can't believe they are taking brand new Ohlins and powdercoating them prior to selling.

no, they most likely had a pair of their own ohlins (either pat's or jerry's) or someone in the shop and they photographed those shocks and just used that one image over and over for all the ohlins shocks in their catalog. not all the shocks have piggybacks like you see in the pictures. OHLINS COME WITH YELLOW SPRINGS!!!

you have red ones on yours, did you take them off your stcok shocks,or did you paint them.the onlins spring are different spring rate then the factory spring that came on the sx.

idk i bought them off a TY member. i dont think that they are ohlin spring because the red paint is chipped and it doesnt look like theyve been painted.. wha should i do?

well if you want to put the ohlins springs on the shocks there are 2 choice 2.3 kg/mm is the factory sring rate and 2.7kg/mm is a opitional spring rate PN.(PP-8CV-600) i look thease up in pioneer performance catalog 69.95.i am sure maxxperf has them as well.Oh also the factory spring rate is the same for the kayaba sx front shocks 2.3 kg/mm (red spring)sorry about that,so look at the spring and see of they have 2.3 some where on them,if so then then should be fine as the spring rate is the same as the ohlins....the 2.7kg/mm ohlin springs can only be used on the front shocks

I think thats just a picture that Hauck is using on their site. They have the same picture for every model.
