i'm looking to long travel the front of my 02 srx, I have an expert on back already, and I'm considering the works setup, what is your opinion on these?

I don't have them on my slead but do have works dual rates on my warrior trail quad. They work excellent with no problems after about 2000 miles of hard riding. The people at works are really nice and easy to deal with too.

I suggest you tell them you weigh about 20lbs more then you really do if you are an aggresive rider. Thats what I did and they were spot on right from works.

One Engine

One engine = $0
Expert suspension = $1200
Works Shocks = $500
Still tired after 100 miles, PRICELESS!

One engine = $0
Stock suspension = $0
New rings = $80
Smiling as I ride by you after 100 miles...Priceless!

:WayCool:

Elka (penske) makes the badest *** shock around! Only problem is they cost even more than ohlins. They make a custom triple adjustable thats unbeatable. It has high and low speed compression adjust, along with rebound adjust. Along with four or five different piston designs to suit your riding style. If youv'e got money to burn, then go with elka's.

Comming from a guy giving advice to make a sled more mushy?!? Sounds like there may be some gender confusion...may want to talk to a surgeon about that. :na

By the way...just to clarify here. I ride both brands...this isn't a loyalty thing but an opinion!

comfy,
Everbody knows the kinda guys who hide behind a keyboard! Childish!
nuf said! I'm sorry you were picked on in high school :D:DP

Hey light in the loafers, I had a 98 ski doo formula 3 700, ride sucked, it had the worst rebound, and the motor was fine, until the usual pto side bearing froze up like every other triple ski-doo motor! Haven't had a problem with my srx, besides wanting a little smoother ride, but its still a better ride than my ski-doo was, so keep shooting your mouth off.

ski-doo $4000
shitty ride $0
blown motor $1400
still got beat by a ZRT 600=$0
blowing by you and the ZRT on my comfy SRX=priceless

Easy guys . . .

First, I am a nobody on here and have no authority whatsoever, however I don't want to see Tom waste his time dealing with threads that go astray and turn into keyboard power struggles.

Let's please all pay Tom the respect he deserves for keeping such a great website, and take the trash talking / sled bashing threads to one of the sites that seem to thrive on that sort of thing.

We owe a lot to Tom and others for putting in all the time, effort, and money to make this site what it is. Let's not lose it!!!

No problem man, we all get hooked into that stuff sooner or later. We need snow bad!!!

I am hoping that the Novi show will help a little.
