The Hastings 500 snowmobile grass drags and Michigan Snowmobile Associations snow show this weekend, October 7, 8 & 9, 2005 at the Barry Expo Center in Hastings, Michigan. A snowmobile grass drag race with $10,000 in prize money, a HUGE swap meet, and vendors from all over the world with snowmobile gear for the upcoming snowmobile season. Camping is available so bring the entire family for an entire weekend of snowmobile excitement!!!

guys, the pro's are all going to martin 131. the races at hastings will not be HUGE. he's hoping the spectator and pubic arnt smart enough to know who or what they are watching at the races this weekend. all the pro racers have posted their problems with YZRP yankee zepher racing promotoions. tom this new user used your forum for free advertizing of his so called event. his 10k in prize money has been promised to the racers several times. and always turns out gift certificates instead of cash to certain business's. if you dont beleive me go to sled-hedz.com or amsnow or any other full time racing forum and do a search. the racers have had enough of this guy. ski

Yankee Zephyr Racing Promotions, Inc has been promoting the Hastings 500 for the past 10 years. We have paid in gift certificate for the past five years. A dealer does not want to put up CASH to have that cash taken to the competitors store. They are hoping to get a new customer, or a return on their investment. Gift certificates are as good as cash, you can always use it to purchase belts, spark plugs, oil, studs, or pass it on to the new guy who's just getting started in racing!! Always remember there are two sides to every story, and sometimes stories get distorted to better the other party involved. Yeah, there's two sides to every story and the truth is usually somewhere in between. But the story I've been hearin from many racers is that cash money was promised and gift certificates were recieved. None the less, I wish you the best of luck with your event.
