with sheave cap off my primary i can wiggle the spider...

Doing some clutch maintanence on my new (old) 600 MM while the primary is still on the machine...i don't have a puller. I noticed that I can wiggle the spider a fair amount when the sheave cap is off. Does this mean the bushing is shot on that portion of the primary is shot? Do I have to replace both is this is the case? sliders too?

You must shim the plastic pucks inside the spider. These are the plastic inserts that the spider slides against. Your dealer should have shims.
