89 phazer blowing headlights?!?!?

My machine keeps blowing headlights? It was a every couple rides it would blow, then last night as i was riding all the lights on the whole sled blew?? I replaced them and rode for 4 hours and no problems. And also when u touch the break lever the headlight will dim. Any idea where to look for a problem? Bad ground? short? I have no idea where to start.

sounds like your voltage regulator.

Yes...sounds like the voltage regulator. Located just above your left toes inside the engine compartment, behind the secondary. I have 3 Phazers and all of them will dim the lights when you put the brake on.
