Here's my 96 Vmax from Last years Ride!

Heres my 96 Vmax 600xt It has csi Skis M10 Suspension Also new paint job its a honda brand paint that a collision center had left over from a repair. I love this sled i know its and older one but it sure doesnt ride like it and i get alot of looks.

how involved is the m10 swap?
other than buying a used m10, any other significant parts needed?

wow, never seen anyone that didnt like the stock suspension on an xt is that electron blue pearl? looks good. but the low vmax-4 windshield would look amazing on it. cold as heck though, used to have a 96 vmax-4

Yea you need to get the mount kit for the m10 for the sled thats about it. its not hard to do just measure very good and recheck your measurements. I was wondering if a vmax4 windshield would fit on mine glad ya mentioned it.

kewl lookin 600, I just picked up a 1995 vmax 4 800 myself, here are a few pictures, its pushing 192hp, but still retains the stock look.

My 96' 600

Here is a pic of my girlfriends 96' V-Max 600. It started out as a 500 and now has 600 cylinders ,heads, and twin pipes! I always liked the looks of these old pogo sleds.

Here are the pair of oldie's that the wife and i ride. The XT runs much better with a 95 head gasket, reclutched and jetted.
Darkstar31 Do you have the old suspension out of your 96 XT? I could use the rails.

She said she wouldn't ride unless she had a purple and pink sled. The hood was broke into 2 pieces when I got it. I fixed the SMC and painted it ford escort purple. After that I found 600 cylinders, heads, pistons, and twin pipes used for $150, so I said what the hell. The I put on a 1 inch camo predator, rebuilt the skid from top to bottom, and replaced all the bearings on the drive and jackshaft.
She rode it about 180 miles and then I found a leftover 05' RX-1 this spring for a good price and now this sled just sits in the barn covered up. Figures!

Piped, clutched. 192 studs. This sled really moved, for what it was. Ahh, the memories......

im doing the exact same thign to my 94 vmax. right now its has rebuilt everything 700 big bore piped clutched, intake,skis,paint job,polished tunnel. still got lots to do ill have some photos very soon.

so the top end from a 600 is a "bolt on"?

I'll have to see how the 500 goes this yr and it under powered I may step it up.

I did a 700 wildcat motor into my 580 zr, (little bit of a sleeper now)
