If i'm doing the long travel thing to my SRX,
will these stock viper rods do the same thing
as adding the spacer to my rod or buying maxx rods
And are they the right lentgh?

compare them to your rods. Some years of srx's had the long rods. You need the different plasitc spacers to get the ride right. the long travel uses 4 10mm washers instead of the 7.5 and 15 that srx's use. And yes those rods in your srx will work fine, as long as you use the 10 mm spacers.

the rods in your srx now are the short ones, mounted in the hole in front of the rear ilders. If you use the viper rods you will have to install them in the rear hole (behind the rear idlers) because the rods are longer. But yes they will work.

I am installing Long Travel in my 99 SRX using Viper rear shocks and limit straps. I emailed Maxperformance and they said I also needed two 7.5mm washers. I'm now wondering if I ordered the right ones. I'm using the stock transfer rods. Can anyone confirm if I need 10mm or 7.5mm????
