Can someone tell me what needs to be done exzactly ? I picked up a good used helix 54/43. I just need to cut it for o/d and install it..
All aftermarket helix,s are cut now. They shave about 60 thou from the inside collar & the tips of the ramps.
If it shifts all the way out make shure your back secondary sheave dosen't hit the jackshaft bearing cage boldt's it will cause you to go slower but it will be shifted out.It's happened to me.
