Bought a 90 Exciter and the oil pump lines were unhooked and running premix owner had no idea why it was unhooked. Can I test it on the bench maybe with a drill ? Thanks !

sure you can, or since it has premix in the tank you could just put oil to the pump and see if it works, those things never failed, what they would do is, the return spring would hang up and it would over oil, just unhook the oil cable up top and see if it pulls itself back when you pull it out, put oil in the tank and bleed it, start the engine and see if it pumps, pull the cable all the way out while its running and see if it pumps more. If so, hook it back up.....
