How do I bleed the brakes on my SRX? When I pull my brake lever the pads don't contact the rotor. The brake handle goes in with barely any force. This happened after I installed new brake pads. I started removing the brake line and then I realized that I could replace the pads without removing the hose. So I'm pretty sure when I loosened it and tightened it back up some air got in there.
I almost needed the brakes today when I aerated the grass! Sorry no pics though.

same as bleeding brakes in a car man, squeeze open close release repeat
I usually start with the far bleeder screw.

just like you would a car. First off, takie the top off the master cylinder, pump the brakes up untill the lever gets hard, then hold the handle and release the bleeder, or hose, then tighten it up while still holding the handle down. continue to do this untill she gets to where you want it, and make sure the fluid stays full.

Thanks guys, I was just pumping it before not holding it. I'll go try this right now.
