50/40 with clickers better than 48/36?

I am running the 48/36 with heelclickers now and am wondering if it would be worth the money to go to the 50/40 as suggested on the tech pages? It is a 00 SRX ported geared down one. Can anyone tell me what I would gain by changing...or if there would be much gain at all?? Thanks!!
