in need of advice.

i have purchased a 99 srx 700 (my first nice sled) a couple weeks ago and still dont know exactly what i have. it has 3500 miles on it and is all stock except for a holtzman variflow device. i would like to know how to tell if it is an srx 700, srx 700c, srx 700sc or srx 700 w/ ohlins. i do know that after this winter im going to put a new track on it and would like some advice on some other things to check out because its in great shape on the outside but im not sure that the any of the engine has ever been gone through... im considering taking it in and having it gone trough before i take it out just to make sure everthing is ok... any advice, pointers would be great. and i cant wait to take it out, i hope it stands up to all the bragging the srxs get!!!

Alls I can say is post a pic and the guys here will tell you exactly what you have. If you have yellow shocks in the front, piggyback style, those are Ohlins. Great shocks. This is your first sled? Hold on to your socksLOL!! That is one hell of a mchine. I had a 98. I hope you have some riding experience? Be carefull!!

Measure your arms right now, because after you ride it for the first time they WILL be longer! I remember the first time I rode my SRX. I punched it at 40 mph and I almost sh t myself! It pulls hard at any speed!

with only 3500 miles the motor should be good for awhile yet, this must be your first yammie
