Hi,
My sled is a 2004 Yamaha Venom 600. I want to extend my 121" camoplast cone track to a 136" ripsaw track. Where is the best place to get a 136" ripsaw track, tunnel extension, and rail extensions?
Thanks....

Get ahold of Kevin at Port-Yamaha, his name on here is Port-Parts, awesome deal on tracks. I run the Tracks USA rail extensions, awesome quality and they extend the slide rail as well, some extensions just extend the wheels back. Very cool looking too. As for tunnel extensions, I'm not sure on the Venom, I have a Hartman extension on my RX-1 which I really like but I don't know if he makes them for the Venom or not, alot of guys will suggest Mountain Performance Inc. for the tunnel extensions as well, both are very nice.

Here's a thought, ...maybe instead of going longer, I should go deeper. In other words stay with a 121" track (cause it's faster), but get 1.5 inch lugs (on my new Ripsaw track). This should allow me to go fast and be fast in deep snow.
Your thoughts?

going deeper doesn't do much good if you don't have any floation to stay above the snow. If you are really planning on running some deep powder going deeper definately won't cut it, you have to increase the footprint to get more floatation. Now if you just really want to have some snap in loose snow, going deeper is fine, but when the snow gets deeper you will sink just like all the other shorties. Depends what you want.

what he said. also keep in mind a 136" will ride a lot better than a 121".yamaholic22 said:going deeper doesn't do much good if you don't have any floation to stay above the snow. well a 1.5" in a 121" venom ,viper work actually well off trail but if your also looking for a better ride the 136 is the way to go.i guess if i was going thru the trouble i would just long track it and not have regrets after words and the 1.25" will allow you to run on low snow conditions .
