you need to check into state laws. Mi. has a law were headlight covers are a ticket.

I seen numerous sleds with lightsheilds last year in U.P. to say they are not enforcing them would be stupid but there were alot, YAMI'S,Poo's,kittys and what's the other LOL

they dont really enforce it here either but if you get stoped for any other reason or even in a spot check they will ticket you.

i doubt theres a law up here in maine for that. i dont think that i saw 1 warden besides the one that stopped me i his truck on the 1300 miles i did last year. i got a ticket for other reasons last year....

I got stopped twice and barked at for the lightshield in michigan last year, stop using it after that.

well i got the reedspacers,quick rods, simmons skis, ripsaw track,special designed clutch kit, 1more cooler, other drivesprockets just 2 instead of 4,reinforced w-arm,removed the stabilisers at the trailing arms,4th REAR WHEEL KIT and numerous parts from viper,srx and other sleds just to become the only one..hate to lock and have the same as everyone else

But prettymuch all have been stripped down and replaced or polished and checked up so its gonna be a sweet year, by the way with modblaster,reedspacers and brand new wiseco pistons i got 138hp in the dyno so im pleased

as said its to much to wright down

i didnt get a ticket, but got stopped in MI because of the light shields....

bad reason to get checked....

Its funny that the Dam Near Russians can pull you over for no reason at all, yet a police officer cant unless you are breaking the law or they beleive you have commited a crime.... when it comes to the dnr you are GUILTY untill proven not.....o well

you mean the small cirlce medalion type thing on the nose? those come on the sx chassis' i think. dunno about others...
